A Thanksgiving Greeting From Pastor Inghram

My fellow believers,

Every year we celebrate our holiday of Thanksgiving. From the beginning of this holiday, our Thanksgiving proclamations have recognized the importance of God in our daily events. This is a wonderful recognition because God truly is involved in our lives.

Since we live in a fallen world, not every event seems to be a blessing, but we are told to thank God for everything (1 Thess 5:18). God works these difficult times for our benefit and according to His will. Therefore, we have much to be thankful to God for what He has done and is doing. Certainly, our greatest gift from God is His Son who redeemed us from our sins (1 Pet 1:18-19). Amongst many other blessings this year, we must remember Jesus’ sacrificial work for us on the cross.

I wish for all of you to have an enjoyable holiday with family and friends, one that is a blessing to you and to them. May your celebration be grounded in the many blessings that we have from God.

“The Lord will bless His people with peace [comfort, tranquility, harmony]” (Ps 29:11b).

In His Abundant Grace,
